benedict cumberbatch is the horta
i have no comment on the matter
despite the recent unveiling of important spoilers
i stand by my theories
i am staunchly refusing to take sides on this issue because i am still heartbroken about him not being Chapel. Furthermore, this shit is tiresome.
It’d be so much better if he were Chapel instead. I’m...

I love Star Trek. Like, seriously, deeply, irrationally love it. I watched all of season three of Enterprise, for fuck’s sake — I think I can pull rank here and say I’ve seen it at its best and at its worst and I love it all the same. But that doesn’t mean I have to be so grateful for the fact that this movie even exists as part of the Trek canon that I’m going to shy away from...

Ooooh, I can’t wait until you get to season 2! Season 1 is great but man, Season 2 is just a total cut above. Also, yes, now I have the curse of hats too. They’re friggin’ EVERYWHERE
I can’t wait until I get to season 2, too!
I mean, I love Star Trek: TOS, so I can certainly survive on cracky details...

Wow, I just realized, I am halfway through season 1 of Babylon 5? Already? I haven’t been watching it all that fast, but wow, I didn’t know so many episodes have passed already.
Something tells me I’m never going to stop noticing the hats from now onwards, though.
That’s a lot of seasons of hats.

you know that one ship
that one ship that you hate with every fiber of your being
with such a burning, white-hot fury that every time you think about them it’s like you can feel them under your skin, grating at your bones and you feel nasty and want to shower and at the same time want to punch holes in walls and flip all the furniture in the room over
yeah me fucking too

“Man, I need a drink…
…Water, straight up.”
On the whole, the situation with Garibaldi and Frank and Lianna reminds me of the Star Trek: TOS episode “Court Martial” with the similar situation with Kirk and Finney and Jamie. The episodes are very different, but there’s still a...

I am really excited, because I finished moving all of my herbs out of my garden today and into containers, and now I have my garden prepared and mulched until I can plant it.
I’m going to try planting the Three Sisters this year, and that means basic permaculture, which means ~LAZY GARDENING~ because I have to do less weeding and stuff.

Okay, I'm back from my two-day hiatus~!
I had two essays to write yesterday, one for my Philosophy of Religion class and the other my entry for the Ayn Rand contest, and I FINISHED THEM BOTH!
Anyways, time to go back and read everything that I missed on my dash.

If it doesn’t have to be on Fountainhead you could read Anthem instead, its only about 100 pages.
Unfortunately, the Anthem contest is the one I’m not eligible for. I’m about two years too late.
So I’m stuck with ~700 pages of The Fountainhead.

Okay, so I just found out about these Ayn Rand essay contests this year, when I happen to be eligible for 3/4 of them. The prize money (and number of prizes awarded) is RIDICULOUS.
Of course, I still procrastinated on the one with the nearest deadline, so I have until this thursday to read the last couple hundred words of The Fountainhead and type up an essay about the book.
AND WITH THAT,...

My favorite thing about Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead is that none of the characters are likable.
