Also, speaking of Holes ships yes I KNOW that absolutely NONE of my followers care about this book, but w/e w/e I’m into it at the moment and I can’t stop help, I did not expect to ship Stanley/Zero when rereading it.

The ship hit me with the force of Mr. Sir’s water truck turning around after he discovered that someone had stolen his sunflower seeds.
ASDJGSAKGD STANLEY RISKS HIS LIFE TO GO AFTER ZERO, THEN CARRIES HIM UP THE MOUNTAIN, AND SINGS TO HIM, AND REFUSES TO LEAVE HIM IN THE END. AND ZERO FLEES BECAUSE HE TRIED TO DEFEND STANLEY, THEN CUTS HIS HAND WHEN HE GRABS THE SHOVEL BY THE BLADE IN ORDER TO SAVE STANLEY.
Also, they basically live together at the end of the book and there are no rival love interests so I can just stick my hands over my ears and lalalala the canon does not discourage this so that makes it valid okay
