I was ambushed by a sudden plot bunny today.
T’Pring/Joanna. Somewhat of a historical Germanic AU. T’Pring is a peace-weaver meant to end a blood feud between two clans by intermarrying into the rival clan. Joanna is a member of said clan, and she and T’Pring meet and fall in love before the marriage can go through.
Where did this even come from?? I haven’t really been on a Trek kick in awhile I blame that Avengers fic I wrote recently which involved heavy themes from Beowulf. WHY WON’T THIS STUPID SHIP LEAVE ME ALOOOONE

I noticed that someone was angry that I turned their saddest moment into a slashy gifset. I would just like to clarify, that it is not my fault if he/she saw this in any way other than the movie intended. The quote “I have been and always shall be yours.” was taken from the scene which I have shown in black and white. Why do you think I added that? It’s there for a reason because those were Spocks exact words during that scene and if you thought it was a confession of love then that wasn’t my fault. I was just quoting the movie. Even if I view them as soul mates, doesn’t mean you have to.
